Indian Recipe: Pumpkin Burfi
Ingrediants:- Red pumpkin (grated)– ½ kg
- Sugar – ½ kg
- Lemon - juice of one
- Rose essence -few drops
Preparation:
- Prepare sugar syrup by boiling the sugar in an equal quantity of water.
- Add the grated pumpkin and cook slowly over a low flame till the mixture thickens.
- Add rose essence and lemon juice.
- Grease a mould and transfer this spreading it out evenly.
- Leave it to cool completely and cut into squares.
