Indian Recipe: Pumpkin Burfi

Ingrediants:
  1. Red pumpkin (grated)– ½ kg
  2. Sugar – ½ kg
  3. Lemon - juice of one
  4. Rose essence -few drops

Preparation:
    1. Prepare sugar syrup by boiling the sugar in an equal quantity of water.
    2. Add the grated pumpkin and cook slowly over a low flame till the mixture thickens.
    3. Add rose essence and lemon juice.
    4. Grease a mould and transfer this spreading it out evenly.
    5. Leave it to cool completely and cut into squares.
