Indian Recipe: Prawn Fry

Ingrediants:
  1. Prawns. -½ kg.
  2. Coconut (¼ " squares) - ¼ cup
  3. Fish tamarind (socked in water) - 4 nos
  4. Ginger paste - 1 tsp
  5. Chilli powder - 1tsp
  6. Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
  7. Pepper powder - 1 tsp
  8. Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
  9. Button onions (crushed) – 5 nos
  10. Salt - a required
  11. Coconut oil - 3 tbsp
  12. Curry leaves – a few

Preparation:
  1. Cook prawns along with tamarind, ginger paste, coconut squares and all the powders by adding sufficient water.
  2. Allow the water to be absorbed by the prawns.
  3. When the curry is almost dry and the prawns covered with the masala, remove from fire.
  4. Heat oil in a pan fry crushed button onions till it crisp.
  5. Then add curry leafs and prawns and fry well
