Indian Recipe: Prawn Mango Curry

Ingrediants:
  1. Prawns (Chemmeen) - ¼ kg
  2. Raw mango (cut into small pieces) - 1 no
  3. Garlic pods - 3 nos
  4. Chilly powder - ½ tbsp
  5. Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
  6. Grated coconut - ½ of one
  7. Water – 1 cup
  8. Button onions (cut into thin rounds) - 3 nos
  9. Curry leaves - a few
  10. Coconut oil - 2 tbsp
  11. Salt - As required

Preparation:
  1. Cook prawns along with mango, chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt by adding a little water.
  2. Grind grated coconut and garlic into a fine paste by adding one cup of water.
  3. Add this paste to the cooked prawns and bring to boil.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and add the button onions and curry leaves.
  5. Fry till the button onions are golden brown in color.
  6. Add this seasoning to the curry and mix well.
