Indian Recipe: Mutter Paneer

Ingrediants:
  1. Paneer cubes - 500 gm
  2. Green Peas -250 gm
  3. Onions (finely chopped) -2
  4. Tomatoes (chopped) -3
  5. Green Chillies - 5 
  6. Chiily powder - 1 tbsp
  7. Ginger-garlic paste - 2 tbsp
  8. Coriander powder-1tbsp
  9. Cumin powder-1 tsp
  10. Garam masala - 1/2 tbsp
  11. Turmeric powder-1/4 tbsp
  12. Oil - 6 tbsp
  13. Water - 11/2 cup
  14. Salt to - as required
  15. Coriander leaves chopped - 1/2 tbsp

Preparation:
  1. In a pan add 3 tbsp of oil and fry the paneer until it becomes golden brown.
  2. In another pan add rest of the oil and fry chopped onions and ginger-garlic paste until onions begins to change its color to brown.
  3. Make a paste of the cumin, chilly, coriander, turmeric and garam masala powders by adding a little water.
  4. Add this to the pan and fry for about 5 mins gently.
  5. Add the ground dry spices and fry some more for about 5 mins gently.
  6. When a nice aroma comes, add chopped tomatoes.
  7. And stir around on highest heat for a few mins.
  8. After about 5 mins add water and bring to simmer.
  9. Then add the previously fried cubes of paneer to the pot and let it simmer for a few minutes more.
  10. Then add the green peas and simmer with the lid partially on for about 20 mins.
  11. When the curry is of the consistency that you prefer switch the flame off
  12. Garnish with chopped coriander leafs.
