Indian Recipe: Mushroom Curry
Ingrediants:- Mushrooms - 250 gm
- Onion (finely chopped) - 1 no
- Tomato (diced) - 1 no
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1/2 tbsp
- Green chillies – 4 nos
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Chilly powder – ½ tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 ½ tsp
- Cumin seeds (Jeerakam) – ½ tsp
- Garam masala powder – ½ tsp
- Water - 1/2 cup
- Oil - 3tbsp
- Salt – As required
Preparation:
- Add oil in a pan and sauté onions, ginger-garlic paste, green chillies and cumin seeds.
- When onions begin to turn its color into slight brown add tomatoes and sauté for 2 minutes.
- Make a fine paste of chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and Garam masala by adding a little water.
- Add this to the pan.
- Fry till a nice aroma comes.
- Add mushrooms, water and cover the pan with a lid.
- Cook till the mushrooms became tender and cooked.
- When the curry begins to thick remove from flame.
