Indian Recipe: Mushroom Curry

Ingrediants:
  1. Mushrooms - 250 gm
  2. Onion (finely chopped) - 1 no
  3. Tomato (diced) - 1 no
  4. Ginger-garlic paste - 1/2 tbsp
  5. Green chillies – 4 nos
  6. Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  7. Chilly powder – ½ tsp
  8. Coriander powder – 1 ½ tsp
  9. Cumin seeds (Jeerakam) – ½ tsp
  10. Garam masala powder – ½ tsp
  11. Water - 1/2 cup
  12. Oil - 3tbsp
  13. Salt – As required

Preparation:
  1. Add oil in a pan and sauté onions, ginger-garlic paste, green chillies and cumin seeds.
  2. When onions begin to turn its color into slight brown add tomatoes and sauté for 2 minutes.
  3. Make a fine paste of chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and Garam masala by adding a little water.
  4. Add this to the pan.
  5. Fry till a nice aroma comes.
  6. Add mushrooms, water and cover the pan with a lid.
  7. Cook till the mushrooms became tender and cooked.
  8. When the curry begins to thick remove from flame.
