Indian Recipe: Mango Pickle
Ingrediants:- Mango (cut into small pieces)- 2 no
- Red chilly powder -3 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Fenugreek powder (Uluva) - 1/2 tbsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/4 tbsp
- Asafetida (Kayam) - 1/4 tsp
- Salt - 3 tbsp
- Oil - 1/4
Preparation:
- Marinate mango pieces with salt for one day.
- Add red chilly powder and mix well.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add mustard seeds and when they splutter, add asafoetida.
- When it cools mix with the mango pieces well.
- Add the fenugreek powder and mix well.
