Indian Recipe: Fish Cutlet
Ingrediants:- Fish- 250 gm
- Onion (chopped) - 1 nos
- Potatoes (boiled & mashed)- 1 nos
- Ginger paste - 1/2 tbsp
- Green chillies(chopped) - 4 nos
- Garam masala - 2 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander leaves - As reqd
- Oil - 4 tbsp
- Bread crumbs - 1/2 cup
- Eggs - 2 nos
- Oil for deep frying - 2 cups
Preparation:
- Cook fish in a pan covered by a lid by adding little salt, till they are cooked.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add onion, ginger and green chillies and stir it continuously till onion turns to brown color.
- Smash fish and add to it & fry well till all the water is evaporated.
- Add pepper powder & garam masala and mix well.
- Switch off the flame & add coriander leaves and allow cooling.
- Make small flat round shape balls.
- Beat the eggs in a bowl and take breadcrumbs in another plate.
- Dip the balls in the egg mixture & then roll them on the breadcrumbs.
- Deep-fry the cutlets in oil.
- Serve hot with tomato sauce and salad
