Indian Recipe: Egg Curry
Ingrediants:- Egg (hard boiled) – 4 nos
- Onion (finely chopped) – 3 nos
- Tomatoes (diced) – 2 nos
- Green chillies – 4 nos
- Ginger paste – 1 tsp
- Chilly powder – ½ tbsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Coriander powder – 1½ tbsp
- Garam masala – ½ tbsp
- Water – 2 cup
- Salt – as required
- Oil – 4 tbsp
- Coriander leaves – a few
Preparation:
- Remove the shell of the egg and cut into 2 pieces.
- Grind tomato, 2 tbsp of chopped onion, chilly, coriander, turmeric and garam masala powders into a fine paste.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry onions along with salt till they begin to change its color to slight brown.
- Add the grinded paste, ginger and green chillies and fry till a nice aroma comes.
- Add water and bring to boil.
- When the gravy begins to thickens remove from flame.
- Add Egg pieces and coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with chapattis.
