Indian Recipe: Dal Fry
Ingrediants:- Dal -1cup
- Water - 2 cup
- Chopped tomatoes - 1 no
- Onions (finely chopped) - 1 small
- Ginger-garlic paste - ½ tbsp
- Chilly powder - ½ tbsp
- Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
- Cumin seeds - ¼ tsp
- Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
- Oil - 4 tbsp
- Salt - As required
Preparation:
- Cook dal and water till the dal is done.
- Heat oil in a small pan and fry cumin seeds.
- Add the chopped onion, salt, ginger-garlic paste and fry till onion begins to light brown in color.
- Add the turmeric powder, chilly powder and tomatoes and fry till oil begins to separate.
- Add into the cooked dal and mix well.
- Garnished with coriander leaves.
