Indian Recipe: Chicken Roast

Ingrediants:
  1. Chicken - 1 kg
  2. Onion (finely chopped)- 4 nos
  3. Tomato (diced) - 3 nos
  4. Vinegar  (optional)– 3 tbsp
  5. Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  6. Red chilly powder - 1/2 tbsp
  7. Coriander powder - 1tbsp
  8. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tbsp
  9. Garam masala - 1/2 tbsp
  10. Oil - 1/4 cup
  11. Salt - As required

Preparation:
  1. In a pan pour 3 tbsp oil and fry onion, ginger garlic paste and salt till onion starts to change its color to brown.
  2. Make a paste of all the spices by adding a little water.
  3. Add tomatoes and sauté for 5 more minutes.
  4. Then add the masala paste and sauté well.
  5. Add the chicken pieces and vinegar and cover the pan with a lid.
  6. Cook in low flame till chicken is 3/4th done.
  7. In another pan pour rest of the oil and fry chicken pieces.
  8. Add the chicken pieces back to the gravy.
  9. When the gravy thickens remove from fire.
