Indian Recipe: Chicken Roast
Ingrediants:- Chicken - 1 kg
- Onion (finely chopped)- 4 nos
- Tomato (diced) - 3 nos
- Vinegar (optional)– 3 tbsp
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tbsp
- Red chilly powder - 1/2 tbsp
- Coriander powder - 1tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tbsp
- Garam masala - 1/2 tbsp
- Oil - 1/4 cup
- Salt - As required
Preparation:
- In a pan pour 3 tbsp oil and fry onion, ginger garlic paste and salt till onion starts to change its color to brown.
- Make a paste of all the spices by adding a little water.
- Add tomatoes and sauté for 5 more minutes.
- Then add the masala paste and sauté well.
- Add the chicken pieces and vinegar and cover the pan with a lid.
- Cook in low flame till chicken is 3/4th done.
- In another pan pour rest of the oil and fry chicken pieces.
- Add the chicken pieces back to the gravy.
- When the gravy thickens remove from fire.
