Indian Recipe: Chicken Curry

Ingrediants:
  1. Chicken - 1 kg
  2. Onion (finely chopped)- 4 nos
  3. Tomato (diced) - 3 nos
  4. Vinegar  (optional)– 3 tbsp
  5. Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  6. Red chilly powder - 1/2 tbsp
  7. Coriander powder - 1tbsp
  8. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tbsp
  9. Garam masala - 1/2 tbsp
  10. Oil - 3 tbsp
  11. Salt - As required

Preparation:
  1. In a pan pour oil and fry onion, ginger garlic paste and salt till onion starts to change its color to brown.
  2. Make a paste of all the spices by adding a little water.
  3. Add tomatoes and sauté for 5 more minutes.
  4. Then add the masala paste and sauté well.
  5. Add the chicken pieces and vinegar and cover the pan with a lid.
  6. Cook in low flame till chicken is soft and tender.
  7. When the gravy thickens remove from fire.
