Indian Recipe: Chicken Fry
Ingrediants:- Chicken (cut into pieces) – 1 kg
- Onion (thinly sliced) – 2
- Tomato sauce – ¼ cup
- Green chillies – 4 no
- Ginger (crushed) – 1 inch long piece
- Garlic (crushed) – 5 pods
- Chilly powder – ½ tbsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Pepper powder – 1 tsp
- Garam masala – ½ tsp
- Curry leaves – a few
- Oil – ¼ cup
- Salt – as required
Preparation:
- Marinate chicken with chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken pieces and keep aside.
- Fry ginger, garlic and green chillyes in the fried oil in the pan.
- Add onions, pepper powder and garam masala and fry them till onion is brown.
- Add the tomato sauce and fry for a few minutes.
- Add fried chicken pieces and mix well.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
