Indian Recipe: Channa Masala
Ingrediants:- Chickpeas (cooked) - 2cup
- Tomatoes (diced)- 2 nos
- Onion (chopped) - 1nos
- Chilly powder-½ tbsp
- Turmeric - ¼ tsp
- Garam Masala - 2tsp
- Coriander powder-1 tbsp
- Salt- as required
- Cumin (Jeera) seeds-¼ tsp
- Oil- 4tbsp
Preparation:
- Heat the oil in the pan and fry onion and cumin seeds until they are lightly browned
- Add diced tomato and the spices.
- Fry for about 5 mins until the oil starts to separate from the onion/tomato mixture
- Add around 1½ cup of water and chickpeas.
- Bring this to boil for 15 mins.
- Add some freshly chopped fresh coriander leaf and stir it all in
