Indian Recipe: Channa Masala

Ingrediants:
  1. Chickpeas (cooked) - 2cup
  2. Tomatoes (diced)- 2 nos
  3. Onion (chopped) - 1nos
  4. Chilly powder-½ tbsp
  5. Turmeric - ¼ tsp
  6. Garam Masala - 2tsp
  7. Coriander powder-1 tbsp
  8. Salt- as required
  9. Cumin (Jeera) seeds-¼ tsp
  10. Oil- 4tbsp

Preparation:
  1. Heat the oil in the pan and fry onion and cumin seeds until they are lightly browned
  2. Add diced tomato and the spices.
  3. Fry for about 5 mins until the oil starts to separate from the onion/tomato mixture
  4. Add around 1½ cup of water and chickpeas.
  5. Bring this to boil for 15 mins.
