Indian Recipe: Beans Thoran
Ingrediants:- Beans (cut into small pieces)– a bunch
- Onion (finely chopped) – 1no
- Green chillies – 4 no
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Cumin seeds – ¼ tsp
- Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
- Grated coconut – two handfuls
- Curry leaves – a few
- Oil – 3 tsp
- Salt – as required
Preparation:
- Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
- Add the cumin seeds, turmeric powder, green chillies and chopped onion and fry well.
- Add grated coconut, beans, curry leaves and salt and mix well.
- Put the lid on and lower the flame.
- Stir occasionally and cook till beans are cooked.
