Indian Recipe: Beans Fry

Ingrediants:
  1. Beans – a bunch
  2. Onion (thinly sliced)- 1 no
  3. Green chillies – 4 no
  4. Curry leaves – a few
  5. Mustard seeds – a few
  6. Salt – as required
  7. Oil – 3 tbsp

Preparation:
  1. Split the beans and cut them into long pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
  3. Add onion, green chillies, and curry leaves.
  4. Fry until onion is light brown in color.
  5. Add beans and salt and mix well.
  6. Lower the flame and put the lid on.
  7. Stirring occasionally cook beans till it is tender.
  8. Then remove the lid and in a high flame fry till all the water is evaporated.
  9. Serve hot with rice.
