Lipstick Tips

  • Keep your lipstick, lip liner, lip brush and a small mirror in your bag for a touch ups on the run.

  • After eating or drinking don’t reapply lipstick. Remove the remains of the lipstick and start from the scratch.

  • Don’t smack your lips together after you apply lipstick – you will remove the color from the inside of the lip and create an uneven finish.

  • When wearing a red lipstick keep eye makeup to a minimum. Put more emphasis on groomed brows.

  • As a general rule if your skin tone is yellow based, opt for a brown rather than blue – based or red shade.

  • Consider clothing tones when choosing lip color. Red color will show up more when wearing white or yellow but less obvious when wearing black or gray.

  • If you’re not used to wearing lipstick or would simply prefer a low – maintenance mouth, try a lip stain instead.

  • When in a sensitive mood opt for a neutral or light tone lipstick.
