Indian Recipe: Prawn Mango Curry
Ingrediants:- Prawns (Chemmeen) - ¼ kg
- Raw mango (cut into small pieces) - 1 no
- Garlic pods - 3 nos
- Chilly powder - ½ tbsp
- Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
- Grated coconut - ½ of one
- Water – 1 cup
- Button onions (cut into thin rounds) - 3 nos
- Curry leaves - a few
- Coconut oil - 2 tbsp
- Salt - As required
Preparation:
- Cook prawns along with mango, chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt by adding a little water.
- Grind grated coconut and garlic into a fine paste by adding one cup of water.
- Add this paste to the cooked prawns and bring to boil.
- Heat oil in a pan and add the button onions and curry leaves.
- Fry till the button onions are golden brown in color.
- Add this seasoning to the curry and mix well.
