Indian Recipe: Chilly Chicken
Ingrediants:
- Boneless
Chicken - 1kg
- Water
- 1/2 cup
- Eggs- 1
- Onions
(cut into big pieces)- 2
- Green
Capsicum (cut into big pieces)-1
- Corn
Flour -3
tbsp
- Soya
Sauce - 4 tbsp
- Red
Chilly Sauce - 2
tbsp
- Ginger-garlic
paste - tbsp
- Chilly
Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Green
Chilies (finely chopped) -3-4
- Black
Pepper powder-
1/2 tsp
- Ajinamotto -
a pinch or to taste
- Red
food color - a pinch
- Salt
- to taste
- Sugar
-a pinch
- Oil
-enough for frying
Preparation:
- Marinate chicken pieces with corn flour, 2tbsp of
Soya sauce,
salt, eggs and a pinch of red food color.
- Deep-fry the marinated chicken in hot oil.
- Heat 2 tbsp of oil and saute chilly powder, black
pepper
powder, ginger-garlic paste, onions, capsicum and green chilies till
soft
- Add red chilly sauce, 3 tbs of Soya sauce,
ajinomotto and
water and mix well.
- Add fried chicken pieces.
- Add salt, little bit of sugar and mix well and
simmer for 10
minutes or until the gravy thickens.
