Indian Recipe: Beef/ Mutton Fry

Ingrediants:
  1. Beef/ Mutton – ½ kg
  2. Button onion / Shallots (crushed)– 4
  3. Onion (thinly sliced) – 1
  4. Green chillies – 2
  5. Ginger (thinly sliced) – 2 cm piece
  6. Chilly powder – 1 tsp
  7. Coriander powder –2 tsp
  8. Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  9. Graram Masala powder – ¾ tsp
  10. Coconut (cut into ½ inch squares) – ½ cup
  11. Oil – 4 tbsp
  12. Salt – as required
  13. Curry leaves – a few

Preparation:
  1. Cook Beef/ Mutton along with onion, green chillies, ginger, coconut squares, half the portion of all powders and a little water.
  2. Heat oil in a pan.
  3. Add crushed button onions, remaining portion of all the powders and curry leaves.
  4. Fry till oil starts to sepaerate from onion and a nice aroma comes.
  5. Add the cooked Beef/ Mutton and mix well
  6. Stir occasionally and fry in low flame till curry becomes dry
