Indian Recipe: Beef/ Mutton Fry
Ingrediants:- Beef/ Mutton – ½ kg
- Button onion / Shallots (crushed)– 4
- Onion (thinly sliced) – 1
- Green chillies – 2
- Ginger (thinly sliced) – 2 cm piece
- Chilly powder – 1 tsp
- Coriander powder –2 tsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Graram Masala powder – ¾ tsp
- Coconut (cut into ½ inch squares) – ½ cup
- Oil – 4 tbsp
- Salt – as required
- Curry leaves – a few
Preparation:
- Cook Beef/ Mutton along with onion, green chillies, ginger, coconut squares, half the portion of all powders and a little water.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add crushed button onions, remaining portion of all the powders and curry leaves.
- Fry till oil starts to sepaerate from onion and a nice aroma comes.
- Add the cooked Beef/ Mutton and mix well
- Stir occasionally and fry in low flame till curry becomes dry
